New Lighting ideas

LED is finally starting to become the light of the future. Cost have kept most projects grounded especially in the higher wattage fixtures. We have seen many new low cost fixtures in the 70-250watt range that are able to replace up to 400watt metal halide's. LED performance continues to improve as price declines. You can see a payback in less than 2 years on some fixtures and with lamp life greater than 50k hours it will save a great deal more than just energy with fewer lamp changes. Labor and lifts to get to your fixtures are a large cost. Many LED's can be dimmed and offer several color temps (3000,3500,4100,5000k) as well.

Whether its inside recessed fixtures or outside security I have a solution for you.

Here is a link to an article from the media, taken with a grain of salt but does have some points we can agree on.

As you can see in this photo, lack of maintenance over the years has caused this expensive repair. About 7000.00 worth. Generally mechanical lugs should be torqued per specs annually and if this is not done deterioration is the result. Failure could come at time when you count on your power the most, and emergency repairs could take much longer if on a weekend or at nights. Giffen Electric can visually inspect, use thermal heat detection device and re-torque to the recommended manufacture specification at a fraction of the cost.

Adding this via iPhone, how about a picture of some faulty electrical work, scary huh. That's why you should hire a professional electrical contractor with a masters license and journeyman electricians, who has 2 million in liability insurance along with workers compensation.

This is a multifan install, 3- PFX 2.0  24ft and 2- Pivot 180 6ft fans. These operate at 480 volt 3 phase. Conduit and support system is hot dip galvenized for corrosion and rust protection. Many of our industrial jobs require material above and beyond those for commerical use.
